The School prepares the students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ICSE). This Examination is recognised by the Govt. of India through an act of the Parliament and the Council is appointed as one of the Indian Examination bodies, Standard Xth Exam is recognised as equivalent to the Matric Examination
Student appearing for the LC.S.E. are required to study:
1. English (Compulsory)
2. One Regional Language (Punjabi/Hindi)
3. Mathematics
4. Science Physics. Chemistry & Biology
5. History, Civics & Geography
6. Computer Application Physical Education
7. Socially useful productive work (S.U.PW) language and Community Service.
LC.S.E. Pass Certificates are issued by the Council to every student who passes English (Compulsory) and qualifies in any four subjects excluding the S.U.P.W. & community service.
The medium of instruction is English and from the other two regional languages one have to he studied from class I to VIII finishing with the Internal Examination given by the School. The other language Punjabi is to be continued till class Xth. Every effort is made to teach the students to handle English effectively as a written and spoken language.
