Any journey begins with a single step. Our mission began in 1990 when a plot was purchased in Kartarpur for the school building. When the dream of late Rev. Fr. Gilbert Ofm Cap and the vision of FCC Superiors amalgamated, St. Francis Convent School, Kartarpur became a reality. The future and success belong to those who believe in the beauty of their dream. They are the one who actualise their vision into precise and meticulous actions. This was proved to be true on 08.04.1991, when the school began with 14 children in Nursery and 16 in LKG in a rented building On 14th April 1991, His Excellency Rt. Rev. Dr. Symphorian Keeprath laid the foundation stone and blessed this humble initiation with the unique vision of forming the younger generation into intellectually mature. morally upright and spiritually enlightened. 

Under the guidance of Sr. Celine Olayam as the principal and with the team of dedicated teachers, the school made a sure and steady progress. Rev. Fr. Gilbert Ofm Cap was the strong pillar of support in the initial mentioning stages of its growth. But the sudden demise of Rev. Fr 1998, Rev. Sr. Gilbert was a bitter shock for Celine was the school which was still in its promo infancy. We believe, that his blessings are still an inspiration for all the Fransians. 

School activities are well co-related with curricular and co- curricular activities. The school got affiliated to the ICSE board Delhi. The technical infrastructure of the school was increased, Science labs, computer lab, well furnished library etc gave an added beauty and perfection to the school, brought great cheer and satisfaction when Charanpreet Singh topped with 87% On 30th May 2005, Sr. Nirmala got transferred and Sr. Dhanya was welcomed as the new principal of the school. She along with its work towards a shared vision, success without pupil centered activities. Our school emphasizes on learning by doing. citizens of Kartarpur sharing and experiencing, as part of our slogan. Students participate in quizzes, interhouse and interschool contests and educational trips to keep pace with the ever changing needs of this world. 

The school hosts exhibitions, seminars, debates and team events so that learning becomes a passion. Science labs and computer labs help our students to become science wizards and Techno masters. Our well stocked library is a source of up to date knowledge and information. Career guidance, counseling, book fairs and student and teacher orientation programmers etc are the part of our annual schedule. 

Our students are active collaborators of various national competitions like IGSC, Science emotions. Olympiad, Blooming Buds. MEC etc. We bagged the top position in many of the items during the past years. 

The school hosted three day series of career guidance and counseling workshops for class every year Professionals of various fields were invited with Sr. Dhanya as the chairperson. Mr. Nitin Aggarwal as the president. Mr. Summet Aggarwal as vice- president and Mr. Anil Singhal as the secretary and PRO Rev. Sr. Ambrosia. Sr. Celine Olayam and Sr. Celine Maria are the three guiding stars who had regulated the life of St. Francis School. On that blissful day school celebrated the Golden Jubilee of Rev Mother Celine Olayam, the founder Principal and Manager of the school who has been associated with its growth all these years Msgr.
